Early Life
Chika Ike was born in Onitsha, Anambra State, into the Family of Mr Ike, on 8th November, 1985, she will be celebrating her 37th birthday in a few months. Chika moved from her hometown to Lagos, where she attended her primary and secondary school education.
She was a victim of the stereotypical behavior of Africans against the female gender, as her father, being a traditionalist, didn’t hide his dismay, when she was born, because of how much he expected a male child. This however, motivated the actress to be where she is today.
According to her, she was mistreated as a child, just because she came forth from the womb as a female, and she since then, struggled and endured it all, just to prove to all those who didn’t believe in her (her father, especially) that she was worth something.
Educational background
Chika, despite growing up under a father who preferred she was born a boy, still got sound and quality education. Her primary, secondary and tertiary education, she all got from Lagos State, Nigeria.
The then aspiring Actress, was admitted into the University of Lagos, to study human kinetics and health education, upon her first application, in 2004.

Modeling Career
Chika Ike started off her professional acting career in the early 2000s with movies such as Sweet Love and bless the child as one of the earliest. But before that time, the actress was partnered with lots of modeling frameworks and even contested in pageantries.
As usual, Beauty queens always had their way into the movie industry, and this was the case for Chika. She became known after featuring in the 2005 smash hit movie “bless the child” . She also earned an award for the Best Promising Actress in Nigeria, at the African Movie Academy, sequel to the movie’s success.
Alleged Twin Sister
Following the evidently striking resemblance between Chika Ike and her elder sister, there have been rumor sparks about them being twins. But that’s untrue, as the actress has been confirmed to be a single child.
Chika Ike’s older sister, Vivien is said to be a Nigerian-American Actress, prisoner and reality TV show host. She is a graduate of the University of Lagos, where she studied English.
