Sony has launched an Xperia M4 Aqua smartphone campaign called “Dirty Phones”, and it lays emphasis on how dirty phones can be. The company uses some images to scare the public such as the one above, it states further that there are about 25,000 germs per square inch on the average touchscreen phone. In addition, according to “research”, 92% of handsets have bacteria on them, while ‘just’ 82% of hands can boast the same thing. 16% of hands and phones contain E.coli, bacteria found in feces.
Germs get onto devices in a variety of ways such as handshakes, sweat, cash, and a lot of other things we touch every day. Sony says that you can clean your phone in a variety of ways e.g. using a tissue paper to wipe your smartphone, using a UV light cleaner, or alcohol wipes.
Sony argues that these methods are not efficient and the best solution is to just wash your phone, but in order to do that, you need a washable phone, if not you’ll damage it beyond repair and so you need a Sony Xperia M4 Aqua. Sony gives some washing instructions which ensure that you wash correctly so that you do not lose your warranty.
