Rahab Saleh Ahmad popularly known as Ummi Rahab is a young, beautiful, talented, promising and fast-rising Kannywood actress who gained prominence after she starred in the movie “Kin Zamo Takwara Ummi” in 2014.
Ummi Rahab was born in her hometown Kaduna, Kaduna State on 7th April 2004. She is currently 18 years old.
Early life and Education
Ummi Rahab was born into the family of Mr & Mrs Saleh in Kaduna State. Ummi lost her father at a tender age and so, the responsibility of raising and training her alongside her siblings rested on the shoulder of her mother.
Ummi Rahab had her Primary and Secondary Education in Kaduna but the names of the precise institutions are unknown.
Since she obtained her first school leaving certificate and Senior Secondary Certificate, Rahab has not furthered her education, this is understandable because she is still young and has ample time to pursue education to her desired level.
Career
Ummi started her career in Kannywood at the age of 10 as a child actor. Right from childhood, she had nursed a passion for acting and when an opportunity presented itself she embraced it as a child.
Before joining Kannywood, she was very active in the drama group of her school. She acted in stage plays and dramas to the delight of the people around her.
Ummi was introduced and nurtured into Kannywood by Adam A Zango who is popularly referred to as the “Prince of Kannywood”. Aside from Adam’s help in introducing her into the industry, Ummi has proven to be an expert in her field as she has gone ahead to create a big name for herself in the industry thereby attracting fans to her.
In 2014, Ummi became a household name when she was featured in “Kin Zamo Takwara Ummi”. She shared the screen in this movie with the likes of Jamila Nagudu and Adam Zango.
She played the role of Adam’s daughter.
As a result of Adam A Zango’s influence on her success in the Kannywood industry, and the fact that they were both starring in the same movies, there were speculation and rumours that they were both in a relationship.
In addition, Adam A Zango has a history of marrying Kannywood actresses. A few weeks after he featured in a movie alongside Maryam Yola, they both got married and Maryam was of the same age as Ummi when she got married to Adam A Zango.
All these facts further intensified the speculations.
However, Ummi Rahab has debunked every one of these rumours, she made it clear that there was no relationship between herself and her senior colleague Adam. She further stated that Adam is her boss and benefactor in the industry, he also advises her on things to do to become more successful in her career.

Their glamorous wedding took place in Kano state and had A-list Kannywood actors and actresses in attendance.
The wedding was a beautiful one and highly sensational, it became a trending topic of discussion on northern blogs and entertainment channels.
There is no doubt that Ummi Rahab is having a happy family because she occasionally posts a picture of herself and her husband on her social media handle.
Since her debut in Kannywood, Ummi has built a large fan base on all her social media platforms. She is active on TickTock, Facebook and Instagram.
