Air Peace is a private Nigerian airline company founded in 2013 which offers one of the cheapest local air fares in the country. The airline generated some controversy as rumors had it that was owned by former Nigerian first lady, Patience Jonathan aka ‘Mama Peace’ however the real Air Peace owner is Barrister Allen Onyema who is an accomplished business tycoon.
Just like the other top airlines such as Aero, Arik, Dana Air, etc, they have an easy to use online platform for flight booking, seat reservation, payment and check in. They have their head office in Lagos, Nigeria and provide both passenger and charter services to and from major cities in Nigeria.
Air Peace currently flies to and from the following destinations:

On March 31st 2016, the Nigerian government approved Air Peace airline’s application to fly Internationally to five countries which are China, India, United Arab Emirates (UAE) i.e Dubai, South Africa and the United States of America (Atlanta). Air Peace intends to make the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Enugu the Hub for all these international flights. With this approval, Air Peace is the only airline in West and Central Africa that flies directly to China. From 17th September, 2016, Air Peace began operating flights to and from Benin City.
Like other air flight booking platforms, Air Peace accepts payments made with internet banking enabled ATM cards such as Mastercard, Visacard and through online payment gateways such as Interswitch, Paga, etc. For those who do not have any of these cards, you also have the option of printing your reservation page and payment id and then go to any bank and pay within the time frame stipulated on the reservation slip (usually 24 hours).
Most airlines in Nigeria give lower fares and discounts to travelers who book 2 weeks or more from their date of departure, Air Peace is not left out as their customers can get flights for as low as 10,000 Naira when booked early. As at 20th March 2016, a one way flight from Abuja to Lagos cost 13,253 Naira when booked two weeks to departure and 15,000 Naira when booked one day to departure.
