Microsoft’s Virtual Assistant Cortana coming to iPhone and Android

Microsoft Windows personal assistant ‘Cortana’ is coming to Android phones at the end of June 2015, and to iPhones later in the year. The arrival of Cortana is part of a mobile strategy which revolves around the new Phone Companion app for iOS and Android, which enables users configure their phones to work and play well with their Windows 10 PC’s.
The Cortana app will enable users perform a variety of functions such as; tracking flights, reminding you to pick up stuff when you are at the supermarket, etc. You can also specify what information you want Cortana to access. The iPhone and Android versions of Cortana will not be able to access third-party apps and respond to “Hey Cortana,” but once the app is launched, you will get most of its functionalities.
