Apple has finally released the much awaited iPhone 6. The phone is larger than the previous version and some little improvements have been made. It has a 4.7 inch LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive shatter-proof touchscreen protected with oleophobic coating; it also comes with the fingerprint sensor (Touch ID) and weighs 129g. It has 1GB RAM, 16/64/128 GB internal memory options and as usual no memory card slot.
On the connectivity side, it has 4G, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and uses Nano-SIMs, its primary camera is 8 MP, 3264 x 2448 pixels with dual-LED flash while its secondary camera is 1.2 MP with 720p quality. It runs on the latest Apple mobile OS, ‘iOS 8’ on an Apple A8 chip and a Dual-core ARM v8 based 1.4 GHz Cyclone processor; it also has a very powerful 8 core PowerVR GX6650 graphics card.
It comes with all the usual softwares; Siri, iMessage, AirDrop, iCloud etc and is available in Space Gray, Silver and Gold colors. It uses a Non-removable Li-Po battery with up to 250 hours Stand-by time. Pricing starts at $900 (150,000 Naira) for the 16 GB version, prices for the 64 GB version and 128 GB version will be slightly higher.
