BBM finally Released for Windows Smartphones

Research in Motion (RIM) Inc. has finally released the much awaited BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) for the Windows phone platform which consists mainly of Nokia Lumia smartphones. Microsoft Mobile announced this on Friday, 1st August 2014 however the app is only available for smartphones running on Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.
To download the app, simply visit the Windows store from your smartphone and search for ‘Blackberry Messenger’ or ‘BBM Beta’ app, then click install to download it. The app was tailored to fit into Windows OS’s Live Tile user interface, it consists of three sections  – Chats, Contacts and Feeds, all of which can be accessed by swiping through the app.
