Samsung Galaxy S5 Features, Specifications and Price

Samsung’s Flagship Phone, the Galaxy S5 was released early this year. It wasn’t received with as much enthusiasm as its predecessor because no significant improvements were made. The new features are Fingerprint sensor (PayPal certified), IP67 certified – dust and water resistant
and Water resistant up to 1 meter and 30 minutes.
It sports a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3; it also has a new leathery back. It has 2GB RAM with 16/32 GB of internal memory and memory card slot up to 128 GB.
On the connectivity side, It has WLAN, Bluetooth, NFC, Infrared and 4G LTE. It runs on Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat) on a Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chip and a Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 processor. Its primary camera is 16MP with 5312 x 2988 pixels resolution while its secondary camera is 2MP with 1080b pixel resolution. It has all of the previous Samsung flagship special features such as S-Voice, Smart Pause, Smart Stay etc.

It uses a Li-Ion 2800 mAh battery with up to 390 hours standby time and up to 21 hours talk time, it also has a special feature which puts the phone in a black and white mode to conserve the battery. It is available in Charcoal Black, Copper Gold, Electric Blue, Shimmery White colours and costs about $650 – $700 (N108,000).
