5 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 3 GB RAM, 32GB internal memory with memory card slot expandable up to 64GB, 13 MP back camera with LED flash and 2 MP front camera, the cameras are enabled for dual video recording and dual video call respectively. For connectivity, the Galaxy J is 4G LTE enabled with up to 150Mbps download speed, It is also Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth and Infrared enabled.
The phone comes installed with Android OS v4.3 Jelly Bean, upgradable to Android KitKat v4.4. It uses a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset and a Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 processor. Other notable features are Dual Shot, Simultaneous HD video and image recording, S-Voice natural language commands and dictation, Smart stay, Smart pause, Smart scroll, Air gestures, 50 GB Dropbox storage and TV-out port. It will be available in white and pink colours and uses a Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery. The official price is $740 (110,000 Naira) but retail prices may be a little higher.
