Motorola Moto X was released in August 2013 and is the first major phone produced by Motorola since its acquisition by Google. It has a 4.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, its rear camera size is 10MP with LED flash while the front camera is 2MP. It has 2 GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB internal memory options with no memory card slot, there’s also free 50 GB Google Drive Storage.

For network connectivity, it is 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled. The phone runs on Android Jellybean OS V4.2.2, powered by Motorola’s X8 mobile platform using a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor and a Dual-Core Krait CPU. It uses a 2200mAh battery with up to 576 hours standby time and 13 hours talk time on 3G.

The phone has some special features which include: Touchless Control which enables you operate the phone using your voice, it also has the ability to learn your voice and distinguish it from other people’s own even if you are a metre away from it.
Motorola Migrate: This allows you move all your files and information from the phone to another Android phone.
Motorola Assist: This feature helps you communicate with the phone while driving without having to touch it.
It is expected to be available in Nigeria from early 2014 and its price in the US starts at $399 (N64,000) therefore we estimate that its price in Nigeria will be in the range of 70,000 Naira to 75,000 Naira.
