Motorola has released its first cheap smartphone since its acquisition by Google. The phone is called Motorola Moto G and was released in November 2013. The phone’s specs are quite impressive for the price, See below:
4.5 inch touchscreen 720×1280 pixels protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. 1GB RAM with 8/16 GB internal memory however there’s no memory card slot, 3G Network, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, 5MP back camera with LED flash and 1.3MP front camera.
It runs on Android Jellybean OS 4.3 but will be upgradeable to Android KitKat by January 2014, uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset and a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor. Its battery is a Li-Ion 2070 mAh battery which has up to 24 hours call time. Official prices in Nigeria start at 29,000 Naira for the 8GB model and 32,000 Naira for the 16GB model so bear in mind that store prices may be slightly higher.
